i was actually embarrassed about this movie.
this is not going to be a good movie...
in fact, i would ALREADY place it into the
same category as daredevil... totally...

just awful and lame....

i already feel pity for people that are
going to lay down $7 a pop to see this
in the theaters....

please... people...hear me now....

save your money... this will bomb....

The first thing they need to do is change the name of the movie from Catwoman to Whore Mouse, cause lets face it, she looks about as much like a sleek feline as Dumbo on Dope. The second thing that needs to go is Halle Berry, she's everywhere, she's not hot, and well she's not playing Selina Kyle (I know that was the point of this movie, but that's one big thing that will kill it). The third thing they need to fix is the fucking cats bringing people back to life crap, it was stupid in Batman Returns and it doesn't get more intelligent with time, it just stays stupid. Fourth and final thing they need to do is just scrap this piece of shit before it actually hinders the Comic Book Movie franchise. It's pretty bad when there's a comic movie out there worse than Batman and Robin.

Also, side note: Halle Berry will not return for the 3rd X-Men Film. She feels that the character of Storm did not get enough screen time or lines. And "Halle Berry does not do bit parts" (Though she might want to start, she's only got one or two years left before that's all she can get anyway) She also wasn't going to get more money and less hours for it. Oscar calibre bitch.

hmmm... adding more (or at least agreeing more)...

i hate that fucking costume... i just can't take
her seriously. that cowl looks like something
you'd see in a 3rd grade nativity play... but
worse. more like a 'mad max catwoman'... and its
reeeeeally baaaaaaaaad....

speaking of the batman movies... you totally
nailed it with 'batman and robin'... this
catwoman movie is nothing short of the poison
ivy bit... sad, meek, pushed around and then
some terrible accident causes her to be 'badass'.

it only makes her look like a joke.

i don't even think the direction or special
effects can save this one. i did think it was
pretty cool to see her fall from the building
and then switch around to her feet like cats
do... but god... how many more matrix-esque
scenes is it going to take before we are tired
of it?

i also agree about it being halle berry. i just
don't think she can cut it. i did watch the
first X-MEN movie... and it was 'ok'... but i
didn't have the nuts to see the second one
(mainly because i wasn't that impressed with
the first one). i just don't care for halle
berry. i also agree with you on her 'attitude'
about movie making and i don't take her seriously.

its a shame....

i think if they really wanted to put out a catwoman
movie, more thought should have gone into it.
while i applaud the idea... this movie will just
suck.

Babi, Gothika was stupid. Go watch Happy Campers, it's much more worth your time.

X-Men wasn't that great because it lacked plot and character substance. X-Men 2: X-Men United wasn't that great because it had too many damned gaps and still lacked character substance. BUT, who didn't love watching the claws pop out of Hugh Jackman's hands? And Rouge really needed to be an older much prettier more Bayou country chick. However Shatz, I know that your favorite part of X-Men was probably the same as mine... Sabertooth choking Halle Berry saying Scream for me. YAY!

oh man... i TOTALLY agree with you on the rogue
issue... i thought that just after i saw the
first movie... and i also agree with the character
development... the movies seemed more as a 'general'
quick-fix with less depth.

storm was ok... but there were many times when
her 'hovering/flying' looked so awful... especially
when you'd see her boots snag the ground or
something similar.

x-men coulda been better....
